Selecting the theme options from the theme options icon seems to work inconsistently.
When I select Theme options from the Navigation menu the builder reloads but then nothing actual happens and the theme options don’t load. This seems a bit inconsistent as in some scenarios it works and it others it doesn’t.
It does seem to work from the header builder but if I’m in the layout builder the page reloads and in the URL it shows “Theme Options” but the theme options don’t load. I can then still click elements on the layout page I was working on. If I then make changes to the page it says I have saved but it doesn’t save as when I go back to the layout builder for that page the changes have not taken effect.
At this point I think the next thing that has been bothering me a lot needs to be mentioned again.
We need some way to easily show us what part of the builder we are working in. In the scenario above I have selected the theme options, the theme options url has loaded but it still looks like I’m in the layout builder.
Generally speaking I am finding it quite difficult to know where I am in the builder and it is not clear where I am.
I think that is also part of the reason why I like having the header and footer with my tools on the bottom and the page builder with the tools on the left.
It is also why I preferred the old theme options loading in modal as it was clear I was in the theme options.
