Assign menue to editor

Hi everyone!

Is there an option to assign a menu setup to an editor? And how could I do that?

Hi Nimue,

Thanks for reaching out.
Not sure what exactly you are trying to mean by that. If you are using the X theme and want a menu to be inserted and positioned within the page content, I would suggest you use the following elements which may serve your need. You can also use the same elements to add the menus into the Header and Footer while using the Pro.

  1. Navigation Collapsed
  2. Navigation Dropdown
  3. Navigation Inline
  4. Navigation Layered
  5. Navigation Modal

I think I wasn’t clear enough. I do know how to add a menue.
But I don’t know how I can assign the right to edit a menue to the editor instead to the admin role.

Hi Nimue,

To allow the Editor to access the Appearance > Menus for modifications, you may need to add a few custom codes which are beyond the scope of theme support. Still, I will suggest you go through the following article and the Free plugin available in the WordPress repository.
