Adding Breadcrumbs to All Pages

Hi, I’ve designed a website and our client has asked for breadcrumbs to be added to every page of their site. I’ve used the page templates ‘Blank - No Container Header, Footer’ and ‘Layout - Content Left, Sidebar Right’. I’ve enabled the ‘Crumbs’ within Globals > Miscellaneous > Crumbs but no breadcrumbs appear. Is this setting just for blog posts? If so, do you know how I can get breadcrumbs enabled for every page of my website so they’d appear under the nav menu, above the page title? Any help will be much appreciated!

Thanks!

Hi @prakash_s

I’ve created a staging site and enabled the crumbs. I’ll put the login info in a secure note as suggested.

Thanks!

Hello @core365,

I’ve reviewed your settings and confirmed that you are currently using the Renew stack. In this stack, breadcrumbs will only appear on the pages when using the following page templates:

  • Default Template
  • Layout – Content Left, Sidebar Right
  • Layout – Fullwidth
  • Layout – Sidebar Left, Content Right

Please note that breadcrumbs will not display on other templates, such as Blank – No Container | Header, Footer, Blank – Container | Header, Footer, or Blank – Container | Header, No Footer, when the Renew stack is active.

If you need breadcrumbs on pages, you need to use maintained page templates or switch to a different stack, such as Integrity. Be aware that changing the stack may alter your site’s layout and styling. Alternatively, create a custom header that includes the Breadcrumbs element, and assign it to the pages.

Thanks
