404 custom page not enabling...4 months later

Totally frustrated with the 404 thing…

  1. have a custom 404 page
  2. no checkboxes on any pages to use choose 404
  3. no 404 pages available on a site under construction

pages are community and support

Hi Steve,

Thank you for writing in, 2) The checkbox is under Pro > Custom 404 and choose your custom 404 page in the dropdown.

  1. If your page is under construction, then it won’t show the 404 custom page, because it is under “under construction” page.

Please clarify the issue, because it seems your custom 404 page is working just fine (https://genxwest.com/loremipsumdolor)

Hello!
I had to direct it to a non-existent url address. I never realized a misdirect via incorrect url was required.

The rest is super simple with the checkbox.

Next time I will not wait so long to ask for help.
