    Hello – same error months later. Does this cert fix relate to today’s outage?

    Could not establish connection. Please ensure your firewall is not blocking requests to theme.co

    I have numerous sites that have validated perfectly from this server (Flywheel). But Flywheel appears to be blocking my attempts at modifying the cert.

    Any insight on the validation issue?

    Hey there,

    Could you please take a look at this article? https://community.theme.co//kb/connection-issues/

    Under “Contact your host”, a method is described to get more information about the error. Could you try this and let us know what errors you are getting?

    Hi, i am new to wordpress, new to x-theme and new to bluehost. i can not validate the API.
    “Could not establish connection. Please ensure your firewall is not blocking requests to theme.co”

    bluehost is telling me they can not help. its not on their site. can you pls advise for a newbie. thanks
