    Ok,
So what does Cannot read property 'sliderType' mean?

Rad; you say “I’ll forward this for investigation”, to whom – Themeco / ThemePunch?

Just so myself and others reading this thread are in the loop, what was the outcome of the other threads?

As much info would be great because I’m in AU, I don’t get your responses till a day after I post this, so this is kinda dragging out… if you know what I mean.

    Cheers.

    Hi there,

We as support can’t directly forward it to Themepunch, we usually forward it to whom in contact with our developers. And they are the one that may contact ThemePunch or, find some alternative solution.

I understand and I really love to help too, but some issues are beyond our capability since it’s bundled plugin. All we could do is forward it for now. They are working on it 🙂

    Thanks!

Well, sometimes that’s all you can do.

    Appreciate your assistance on this.

Will await your reply of an outcome.

    One more thing…

As some threads are closed due to inactivity, I would be disappointed to have to start a new thread and have to refer to this thread through out conversation on this (major) issue.

So, are you guys amenable to the suggestion that this thread to stay open until this issue is resolved, as it may take some time.

    …Sound ok?

    Hi there,

You can start another thread anytime and link it to this thread. All threads are set to close after a period of inactivity.

    Thanks!

I was having a similar problem.

I upgraded to the latest 5.3.0.2 update of Revolution slider.

As soon as I did that, All my sliders stopped working.

I found a resolution that actually worked. I found it off of the themepunch support forum.

A link to the troubleshooting is here: https://www.themepunch.com/faq/troubleshooting-tips-for-5-0/

The resolution was to click on revolution slider from the left WP menu. Then in the top right click on “Global Settings”. I then selected the “on” radio button for “Insert javascript in footer”. I also selected the “on” radio button for “Load all javascript libraries” (see attached image).

Boom! My sliders all showed up.

I hope this helps others that had the same problems that I did.

I can’t even get Rev Slider installed, let alone execute the fix mentioned above.

    Hi Ying-Fu Li,

This does not sound like any of the issues we are having since the update.

Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Thanks

    Joao

    Thanks neoinoakleys for the suggestion,
I tried that solution provided by ThemePunch when I first had the problem, but that fix didn’t work 🙁

    Hi Bruce,

For the moment I would reccomend you downgrading your slider until ThemePunch provide us the new update.

Download the Slider from the link below, acess your site via FTP and go to the folder wp-content/plugins/

Delete the existing folder Revslider and add the folder containing on the zip file.

    Hope it helps
