StephenpeaParticipantI updated to Slider Revolution 5.3.0.1, running on Cornerstone 1.3.3, and X 4.6.4 in a child theme at https://insurancemattersnc.com
I searched the forum and attempted the following:
– deactivate all plugins
– save the slider settings
– removed from home page, save page, add back
– set minimum height rather than have it automatic
– set Global settings to load JavaScript in footerJetPack is not active on the website. In the place of the slider the background image shows – the left/right navigation arrows appear and the timer animation runs across the top of the page, but alas, no slider images or text.

StephenpeaParticipantAlso, there is no CDN or cache at the present time.

jeffchiarelliParticipantHey Stephen, just thought I’d chime in. I’m not sure what’s going on with ThemeCo support right now. If you search threads on this topic you’d get all different answers from them. I’m not sure why Rahul is telling you the issue is resolved with the latest version of the RevSlider when you clearly stated in your first post that you were already updated to that version (I was too – it’s the update that broke the slider). In fact, what’s even more confusing is that hours before Rahul told you that the issue is resolved with 5.3.0.1 (it’s most definitely not resolved in that version) he told another user that:
“Hey There, Thanks for writing in! This is occurring on a lot of X-Theme sites presently. The only fix we could offer is to roll back to 5.2.6 and all is good again! I’ve submitted this to our developers team for further review. We’ll have an update to this soon.” Thread Referenced
I can confirm that this is correct – rolling back to 5.2.6 will resolve your issue. You should be able to google that version of RS and find something that will suffice until they get this corrected. I can’t imagine why the same support staffer would tell one person, it’s a known issue and to roll back and tell another user that the issue is resolved in 5.3.0.1. Either way, just roll back the RS plugin and it will fix everything.

president75ParticipantI have already updated to 5.3.0.2 because I purchased a full license of Revolution Slider (2 licenses for 2 sites) and nothing … the problem remains. You can not see anything. Surely it is not the fault of X, but something like that is unbearable. I have five days that my sites are virtually unusable.
Incredicile.
🙁

jeffchiarelliParticipantPresident75 – You need to downgrade to RevolutionSlider 5.2.6
That should resolve your issue.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Just updating the situation here :
There should be an update within 24hours, ThemePunch have been notified about additional issues which haven’t been fixed yet and we’re waiting on them to fix those and release an update, so we can release the update.
Hope that helps
Thanks for understanding,
Joao

FesevarInnovacionesParticipantSame issue here since saturday and the last few days I was going insane thinking I screwed up something :c
Until the update is live and everything is fine, how can I rollback to RevolutionSlider 5.2.6?

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
We have released an update of Revolution Slider (v5.3.0.2), to fix most of the issues reported by the users recently. Please make sure to take a backup of your sliders, update your revolution slider plugin and then you can re-import your sliders.
Also make sure to clear your cache before testing your site.
Thanks!
