I have had a valid X theme license on my site for 5 years and suddenly it says it is not validated. I try to enter the license key and it keeps telling me there is a communication issue. I have updated everything I am able to update and tried all the troubleshooting techniques I have been able to find (and understand) on the forum. Can someone please help?

Thank you for writing in, I have checked both of the sites under your account and both are using an outdated version of the Theme and Cornerstone.
Please update your Theme using the Manual method, since you can’t do the automatic method because of the outdated version.
How to Perform a Manual Update
Then deactivate and delete your Cornerstone plugin. X should prompt to re-install the Cornerstone, follow that notice to re-install Cornerstone and that should install the latest Cornerstone version.
Remember to clear all your caching features (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) after updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.
After you have the latest X and Cornerstone, try to revalidate the site again.
