X Theme Preview not loading after update

It seems to throw a PHP 500 error.
Here is the error 'Function call ’ get_assignments() on bool in wordpress/wp-content/themes/x/framework/functions/fonts.php:59**

When I just return the input parameter of this function, it started working (but ofcourse now the function is not doing its job.) Please check and fix it.
