The newer tabs element is not mobile responsive. I saw and article months back saying that this may be fixed, but i don’t see where or when it was resolved.
The X Pro tabs should stack on mobile instead of going off-screen with a scroll bar. The classic element stacks properly, but it doesn’t look nearly as nice as the pro version on all other screen sizes.
Is there some code snippet that will make the pro tabs element stack?

The Tab element is not coded to switch to vertical mode on mobile and there is no plan to add such a feature. If you do not like the mobile view of the tab element you can use the hide during breakpoint feature to hide the tab element for mobile devices and use another element to present your data for mobile. Such as Accordion or whatever element that you see fit.
The vertical tab is not a simple feature to create by a snippet. This will need a huge deal of customization which is outside of our support scope. You are welcome to hire a developer to implement such a feature for you.
