X Pro global responsive Text

Hey there,

i checked the forum and found the option to add responsive css classes within the page builder:

As i got it now i have to add new responsive text options for each site. Is there any possibility to add global responsive classes (without css)?

And another thing is that i got by default Classic Row (v2) elements where are not able to change the layout on different breaking points. Is there any option to add/change that without set up a new element just shown on mobile?

Thanks for your help,
Pierre

Hey Pierre,

The Responsive Text feature you showed in your screenshot is not available globally.

The Global Responsive Text option we have is the Root Font Size Mode. You either choose Stepped or Scaling. You can learn more here https://theme.co/docs/typography#how-to-set-root-font-characteristics

Once you’ve set a different font size per screen size or breakpoint, normal texts in your site like content written using the default WordPress editor and Classic elements will be responsive.

The texts in the non-classic elements will not get the Root Font Size setting unless the font size unit is EM or REM. If you’re not familiar with those units, you can learn from here https://webdesign.tutsplus.com/tutorials/comprehensive-guide-when-to-use-em-vs-rem--cms-23984

You might also want to learn about Fluid Text Size. You can learn from here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdQHpAgFumw&t=122s

Hope that helps.

Hey Christian,
