Hello @bakrona,
Thanks for writing in! When you create a page in Cornerstone, you should be translating the page in Cornerstone as well. Just use the language flag icon in the Cornerstone preview builder. To know more about how you can translate the Cornerstone built pages, kindly check out this documentation:
Best Regards.
Hi there
This is confusing. So do i just ignore the WPML translation tool and do everything in Cornerstone?
Hi @bakrona,
As my colleague suggested you need to use the WPML, and you can use the Cornerstone to add the content in different languages. I would suggest you follow the instructions given in the URL referred to by my colleague in the previous post.
Thanks
I think its less connected to me not reading the instructions. I think it is connected to classic elements not being translated in the WPML tool. is that correct?
Hi @bakrona,
Through the WPML translation tool, you can create two different pages and connect as a single page of two different languages. As you can create two different pages for two different languages, you can add any content in that specific language into any element. So there is no issue with the Classic Elements while using the WPML.
Hope it helps.
Thanks
Sorry to insist, but i really trying to understand how to work with this situation so please bear with me
I translated 100 % of the content in the WPML management tool, but not everything was translated. I see that text was translated but not classic text.
Hi @bakrona,
I have tested the given page URL and found the Classic Text element content into the WPML translation editor. Please find the screenshot pointing to the text, which is coming from the Classic Text element.
Please let me know if you have any further doubts on it.
Thanks
