WPML and Pro in 2025

I installed a new WordPress site, loaded Pro/Cornerstone theme, installed WPML. Additionally, I installed one of the Personify templates (Magnate).

After editing the Personify theme pages to have the content (text) and images that I wanted, I went ahead and began to set up WPML.

When I went to Translations, almost all of the Personify theme pages I edited show 2-4 words as the amount of words to translate. This is, of course, highly incorrect. Only one real page has the correct number of words to translate.

I’m trying to find out why this is the case and what do I need to do in order to be able to translate my site from English to Spanish for a client.

It’s 2025, and most of the topics on WPML are from pre-2020. Hopefully both companies have made great strides in working together so that this professional theme works with a professional translation package.
