WP navmenu impossible to load

Hi,

We have quite a large navmenu on our site and it has become impossible to load the menu to edit. It keeps failing to load. RESULT_CODE_HUNG. I increase php memory limit and execution time, to no avail. Please advise.

Hey @Torah541,

Thanks for writing in!

Please check out this old thread:

You will have to increase your max_input_vars to get this issue resolved.

Cheers.

I increased max_input_vars and max-execution to 8000. Still having the same issue.

Hi @Torah541,

To investigate it further can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

NOTE: I would also suggest you activate any of the default themes and check if the issue still exists or not.

Thanks

Hi @Torah541,

I have checked your website and found the issue while trying to access the menu. But that is accessible through the Appearance > Customize. There might be some different reasons behind your issue, I would like to suggest troubleshooting the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.

1.Theme Related Issue
2.Plugin Conflict
3.Theme Update related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization
5.Disabling Cache
6.Disabling CDN
7.Increasing PHP Memory Limit

If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If that does not help, please copy your live site to a staging server so we can troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks
