Hello,
I tried to upload 400x400px small images via cornerstone Image element interface which led me to WP Media upload area. I have larger images in there already. maximum upload size is way over this image 47kb
it basically threw an error I have never experienced working with WP or cornerstone.

It might be issues with server resources or configuration that are affecting the image-processing capabilities of your website. I would suggest you please increase the PHP memory limit and purge all the cache. I would also recommend you please troubleshoot a few common issues before we check your settings.
