Visual Composer News Post Grid photos are very low resolution

Good afternoon,
I created a page with a column to display my latest posts, however the preview images are displaying in very low resolution. As you can see, when you click on the image, the pics in the post are a higher quality resolution. Here is the page: http://riverzedgearts.org/news-copy/

Thank you for any help in getting to the bottom of this!

Hello Brad,

Thanks for writing in!

Please edit your News Post Grid template and make sure that the image size for the Post Image is “Medium” or “Large”.

Hello Ruenel,
Thank you for your response. I’m a little confused and unable to find the Post Image Setting you had mentioned.
Here is the page with trouble (In WP the page is titled ‘What’s Happening at RiverzEdge?’):

Thank you so much for any help! I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to solve this issue.

Hi Brad,

The provided credentials has no admin permission and I can’t check the the said content. Please grant admin access.

As for the post image setting, is a setting of the image element you added within your grid.

Thanks!

Oops sorry about that. I changed user to “Admin” just now. I created this with Visual Composer. When I went into the ‘Grid Builder’ there were no items to edit. I’m not familiar with the Grid Builder tool. Is there any way to edit the picture settings within Visual Composer? Thanks for any help.

Hello Brad,

Sorry for the confusion. It turns out that you are using a Visual Composer which is a 3rd party plugin. We are referring to WPBakery Page Builder while you are using a 3rd party Visual Composer. We have already tried to look around the settings of the plugin and we cannot find where you can change the image size for your News Post Grid. Since this is not a bundled plugin, we highly recommend that you contact the creators of this plugin instead because we are not familiar with this one.

Thank you for your understanding.

Ah, I see. Thanks for helping me get one step closer! So, if I were to rebuild this page with WP-Bakery, where would I begin. Basically, it’s a page that pulls my “News” articles from my blog. I started to go into the Grid Builder to figure it out, but with options like “Post title” “Post Excerpt”, it seemed like my options were to build each post rather than grab them from my blog page.

Hey Brad,

The Grid Builder is the right feature to use in WPBakery Page Builder. Please read the documentation here: https://kb.wpbakery.com/docs/learning-more/grid-builder/

Please just note that since The Grid Builder is part of WP Bakery’s native features and not an X Integrated element, we cannot provide in-depth support for it. If you encounter problems with the said featured, try using one of the bundled grid plugins. Both have the features you need. Please visit the links below for more details and plugin usage instructions.

Hope that helps.

Hello Christian,
Thanks for the tip about the Essential Grid. I’m trying to activate it, but I can’t find where the key/code would be?

Hi Brad,

After you activate the Essential Grid Plugin, you can start creating the grids.
To create the Grids you don’t need to activate any keys.

Hope it helps.

Thanks
