Version 9 beta feedback on data tables

Hello,

I can see great things with this element, here’s some findings so far

• Filtering seems to apply the text I type and reduce the output to zero, but the table display remains the same
• Search does nothing
• The number of output rows (24) is coming from the Wordpress default ‘reading’ settings, instead of the “Show X” at the top
• The stats count at the bottom is showing 1 to 0 of 10597 and should be either 24 or 10

A great start - this will be a massive time saver - combining a table with a query plus filtering and searching. Amazing.

I might need to hear more on your setup. Do you have a .tco file for me? And I do need to create a dedicated AJAX doc because there can be some additional steps depending on what you are doing.

The Looper Provider needs to be on the Data Table itself for things to work automatically.

For ordering an additional step is needed for AJAX. Set the “Order Column” to the correct Post column.

I realised there’s help docs, I’ll read them first before blundering around! But this element is what I hoped Forms would be - a proper replacement for hand built row/col results with FacetWP.
