V6RC1 | Feedback

Great work on the RC release. Noticing a few minor things:

  1. Double loader still present when adding from the “+” menu

  1. Not sure if this is new but just noticed the little “more to the right” arrow on inspector tabs. It even has a hover state so I assumed clicking it would begin moving me to the right. But it doesn’t appear to do anything.

Thanks for testing!

  1. We’ll see about this and discuss ideas. That loader semi-hidden is for any tab change.

  2. This has come up a couple of times. We are still trying to figure out the scenario which causes this, but yes the button should be scrolling after a click.

Thanks @charlie!

So #1 is intentional? Seems really odd to have both a “creating new header” and “|||” loader overlapping each other. Honestly, I’d be fine if you just got rid of the “creating new header” prompt and just left the universal loader.

Well more of a side effect of the pre-loader then intentional. I agree we could hide the “creating new header” or do something else to make it look nicer. I’ll speak with Kory, thanks!

Adding some to my original post. Happy to breakout if that is easier.

Some of these may have been covered already. Working on an actual build right now and documenting as I work:

  1. Sticky navs that have a shrink enabled do not respond properly. The container appears to shrink but the bar remains the same height. Video of this happening in secure note.

  2. Right side of color picker cutoff in global colors

Hey always good to hear from you.

#3 Duly noted on, thanks for the video. We’ll get that fixed.

#4 someone has brought this up and it’ll be fixed in the next release, but thanks as always for the feedback. #2 as well.

Thanks @charlie!

Two more to add:

#5 Interaction effects are ignored on the front-end when scroll effects are enabled (see secure note for video)

#6 Similar to another thread I saw in the beta forum, sometimes dragging elements results in some wonky behavior. Not constant and not able to reproduce with any consistency but recorded a video (also in secure note) for you to see.

#3 will be fixed in the next release friend.
#5 awesome video explanation, I’m already taking at look a scroll effects for another issue so I’ll handle that as well.
#6 I think eventually we’re going to use a different drag and drop library. We’ll take a look and try to recreate, but other people have brought this up and it’s on the radar.

#5 Are these examples in a looper? Having a hard time recreating.

@charlie not a looper. Just standard ol’ columns. Oddly enough – even though this was happening regularly and recreatable – it’s now working :grimacing::flushed:

Perhaps a caching issue? Though I’m not sure why the issue would have been repeatable.

Could definitely be a cache issue or something else on the page interferring with it. Let me know it comes back. What might help is if you create a section template and download and send me the .tco file for replication. We do have another scroll effect issue with loopers on our list so I’ll keep this in mind. Thanks as always for testing!
