Using WPML, translates all other text on the page correctly but having issues with getting components to be translated

WPML is translating all other text on the page correctly, but it does not seem to pick up or translate any content inside my components (headlines, text and buttons).

Could you please advise on the correct setup for translating Cornerstone components with WPML?

Hey Luke,

The login credentials are not working. Please provide the correct login credentials.

In the meantime, please try translating components using the translation flags. You can learn more here https://theme.co/docs/wpml

Hi Christian,

I’ve updated the password now and checked it’s working.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m using the components in a non traditional sense, so I have a heading that can be dropped into any page and the text be edited on every instance where this is used.

Cheers,
Luke

Hello Luke,

Could you update your Pro theme to version 6.8.4 first? We have updated the WPML theme config in this version.

Thanks.

Hi @ruenel

I’ve just updated my theme and and refreshed the translated page but it still doens’t seem to be picking up any content I’ve entered in my components text/headline/button fields.

Is there any settings I need to tweak to enable this?

I’ve enable the “cs_global_block” to be translatable in the WPML settings.

Thanks,
Luke

This isn’t supported currently. I would reach out to WPML on the status. Right now we are working with them to translate our layouts (Headers, Archives, Singles, etc…) and then moving onto them with Components.
