Using wordpress page templates with layouts

Hi guys,

This might seem like a silly question, given how amazing Pro is on its own. But is there a way with single layouts and archive layouts to make the base template a different template other other blank no container. We a custom page template that needs to be use for a certain plugin, however we still want to build the page layout in Pro. Other than rebuilding the layout as a component and using it as a shortcode (which has just come to my mind now) - is there any other way?

Thanks for reaching out.
The Single layouts can be assigned to a single page or any single page of specific post types. And, the Archive layouts can be assigned any archive pages. So if you have any specific page or archive for the said plugin, you may able to assign the layouts. Please remember that the Page Template need to be create through code, and it is different from the Custom Layouts.
I would suggest you go through the following documentation on the Single and Archive layouts.
