Using the Polylang plugin yields empty search boxes for Global Blocks, Headers and Footers

Hello all,
on one of our Pro installations we use the ‘Polylang’ plugin and run into an issue with the Global Blocks, Headers and Footers search boxes. When we try to select a Global Block the search box remains empty. The same behaviour for Headers and for Footers.

  • The website is fully functional. We can access and edit the headers, footers, global blocks by clicking on them in the pages.
  • The Content search box functions as normal and shows all pages.
  • Wordpress 5.6.2. and Pro 4.2.2
  • No error messages in the error.log

We have two questions:

  1. Is there a way to fix the search boxes / a workaround to get a list of Headers / Footers / Global Blocks?
  2. Does Themeco recommend another poly-language plugin for Pro instead of Polylang?

thanks for the Info! I didn’t know that WPML was supported.

Lesson learned: first look here https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility, before installing anything. Stupidly enough I only looked at the Pro Extensions list in the WP Dashboard.
