Using Global Block for Top Bar

It was suggested that I create a Global Block and insert the shortcode into Theme Option > Headers > Misc. to use a Global Block.

This doesn’t work in the GYM theme.

What else may work or is adding Child Theme and editing the file directly the best way. And if so where is the file?

Hi @Emperor,

Thanks for writing to us.

You can achieve this using our predefined hooks at functions.php file. Here is documentation of predefined hooks of X and Pro theme.
Please use a child theme to customize code.

For reference, you can follow this thread.

Thanks

Thanks for this. I was able to sort out adding a Global Block to the top bar.

However it does not recognize any format/css changes made to the Global Block.

Is there something I need to delete or reference from the child theme to make that happen?
