Using Blog/Category/Post Builder X Pro - Questions

Hello,

I built a Blog/Category/Post layout using the builder and for the Blog layout I used the ‘Conditions’ to assign it as “Blog - is being viewed.” However, even though I’ve assigned the Category page to “Post Taxonomy is Category” when I click a category link from the Blog main page it only pulls up the blog main page but with the Category URL. How do I fix this?

Additionally, for the Category page I used the Archive Title and Archive Description in the hero area but it isn’t showing me anything. See below. Thoughts?

To help you with your concerns we need to check your settings, I would request please share the admin login details meanwhile I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings. Please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

I tried to access your site dashboard but due to IP restrictions or a security plugin, it is not accessible. Please disable the security plugin or disable the IP restriction so we can check it on our end.

My apologies, it has now been disabled.

As a side issue while you’re on the site poking around, can you let me know why the dynamic content icon isn’t showing? When I upgraded to X Pro it seemed to disappear from fields - feature image source, links, content, etc. I’m struggling to find dynamic content strings for things unless there is a full list I can review somewhere.

Unfortunately, the WordPress login URL is still not accessible. Can you please deactivate the IP restriction and let us know for further investigation?

Ah ok. It should be cleared up now. Blocking has been disabled.

I have checked and found that the priority is the reason behind your problem. I have changed the priority for Category Layout to -1 and now it is showing properly.
