Thanks for writing in! Your X theme should have been validated to be able to update the bundled plugins. WPBakery Page Builder is already update in the Automatic Updates. Please proceed Dashboard > Updates to update the plugin. If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

I checked and this is my first time seeing this issue, it won’t update because the theme is detected as an Elegant Theme by WPBakery plugin instead of X theme.
Could you try deactivating and deleting your WPBakery plugin, then re-install it again through X > Validation.
I can’t do that since it’s a live site, and please make sure to backup your site before doing that.
