How do I unload the FA icons from the theme? I may not need FA-brands, 400, 700 or 900. Let me know how I deregister each of them.

Not helpful, I do not use FA-brands but it is still loaded. I do not use all icons in all weights but still loaded.

Would you please get back to us with the exact URL of the website and the exact font file that you are talking about? In general, the Font Awesome files are hardcoded in the theme, but if we can identify which one you are talking about we might give you the correct place that you can edit to remove it, but it will be an unconventional method.

Hmm url wouldn’t help I guess. Can’t I deregister the fonts I dont want? But you say it’s all FA icons or loading all?

The FA icons were integrated in the stack style.css. Unloading the FA icons would mean to recode and minify again the file style.css which we do not recommend as it may create further conflict or issues due to whatever changes.
Hope this explain it briefly.
I would reccomend to build a bit more sustainable. By supporting a filter to unload. Just simple and things that users would expect from the page builder providers. Elementor has supported this for ages: https://docs.elementor.com/article/286-speed-up-a-slow-site

Sorry for the delay here. Regretfully at this time we don’t have a way to conditionally load the sources because they are in the static stylesheets. We have an active feature request to adjust this making the styles output dynamically so it can be configurable, but I don’t have an ETA on when that will be possible.
