Unexpected Under Construction plugin behavior

I created a page with its own name and slug as my under construction page. I don’t want it to have a header or a footer and I’m using a “no header, no footer” template for the page.

If I set either my home page, the front page, or a global setting for a header it appears on my under construction page. The same behavior happens with the footer.

Does the plugin make the page take on the header and footer attributes of the home page when it’s turned on? If so is there a way to override this behavior.

Hello Sheri,
