I just bought a new license for Pro but I’m unable to validate the license. I’ve set the staging URL in the License Manager but when I try to validate it says:
Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site.
I’ve tried about ten times now and it’s always the same. I’ve tried clearing the browser cache but it doesn’t make any difference.
This is for a brand new site with no live site/URL set. I’m only setting the staging site URL right now.

Thanks for writing in! I have checked and investigated your issue. I ended up validating your site as well. Please keep in mind that when validating Pro or X theme, you MUST assign the domain URL to the license code. To make sure that you have assigned the correct domain URL, please go to WP Dashboard > Settings > General and copy the site URL. This should be the exact URL you will need to license to the license code which you can do it in your Themeco Account.

Thanks @ruenel for checking to this but I’m still unclear on what I did wrong. Just now, I checked the settings on my Manage Licenses page and everything looks the same as it did before: the site URL is empty (because I don’t yet have access to the client’s domain) and the staging URL is the same as before “stephanieoddo.videoperformance.video”.
What did you do differently?

The domain URL you have assigned to the license is different from the URL of the site. You should assign the correct URL of the site that you are validating. That is why, you make sure to get the URL in Settings > General > Site URL, copy it over and paste it into your license code assignment.
