We are getting an error when we try to validate our license. We took over the management from another agency and purchased a new license. When we add the license to the account we can an error from themeco site that says Uh Oh Something Went Wrong.

It is not very clear from where you get the License which you have already added to your account, and where you are getting these errors.
If you get that from any other agency, please ask the agency to Unlock the license to transfer to your account. If that is not the case, please elaborate on the matter a bit and also provide the account details from where you are getting the license.

You have purchased a Cornerstone license and this license can only be used to validate the Cornerstone plugin. Since you are using the Pro theme, you will need to purchase the Pro theme license instead. I would highly recommend that you ask for a refund in Code Canyon. Please check out this article:
With Pro theme, the Cornerstone builder is built in so you will need to have the Pro license instead of using the Cornerstone license.
