The header editor lost functionality after updating to Pro 4.0.1.
I can’t see the header at all if previewing from homepage and I can’t add elements to containers any more.
I’m having problems with the header editor too! It will sometimes show, but then not reflect changes and then the header won’t show at all. Very buggy today.

There might be a few different reasons behind the issue you are having, I would suggest you troubleshot a few common issues on this.
1.Plugin Conflict
2.Theme Update related issue
3.Child Theme Related issue ** if you have activated it.
4.CSS/JS Customization
If that does not help you, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

By activating the parent theme, resolves the issue and header coming up in Header editor. It seems the problem with the modified code written in the Child Theme. I would suggest you fix the code in order to use the Header builder with your child theme.
Please note that we really don’t offer any support to the modified child theme.

It looks like it’s the editor in general not just the header. I can’t edit anything right now.
I replaced my Pro Child theme with the one I just downloaded from the site. Still broken. I disabled it and activated the parent theme. Still broken. Not sure what you did but it didn’t work for me.

Another support here, I have check your Content, Header, and Footer builder and everything works fine.
Try clearing your cache, or use private/incognito mode of your browser where there is no caching and browser’s extensions involve.
Side note: we just release Pro 4.0.6, please update to that version as it fixes a few bugs.
