hi there,

i know this is one of the most common issues …

i purched all caches and even deactivated ALL plug-ins, to no positive result whatsoever.

what is the procedure to get it working again?

Hi Rene,

When I try to edit your home page I am seeing this error.

Can you try adding the code below in your wp-config.php file.

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );
define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '1024M' );

If that doesn’t help, try to set WP_DEBUG to true in your wp-config.php file

define('WP_DEBUG', true);

Then try to edit your home page and you should be able to see the error.

i am the owner of the webspace and i am supposed to have full rights. i can´t change anything about that config file. what to do?

i dont know what you want me to confirm … but i also see some unknown behavior after changing the wp-config file … as i cant log out for example and i do white pages

Please provide us with your FTP information to check this issue. It seems that you have incorrectly edited the wp-config.php file, so that you’re getting a PHP fatal error which displays a blank page.

Hi There,

I am also getting the same cookies error when I try to log in to your dashboard. Yes, you can send the wp-config file for us to check, but it would be more efficient if we can check it directly on your site via FTP.

In the meantime, try to set the WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT to 512M only, and see if that resolves the cookies error.

If the issue still exists, please change your salt keys.

can we please sort out the issue with the white pages and maybe messed up config-file first! … i want to get this done before trying new stuff, as my website is only half functioning at the moment.

… i went from not being able to save my changed content to not being able to enter my WP-account and having a website, that is only half functioning.

Hi there,

I couldn’t log in through your FTP and I tried all possible combinations. Perhaps you can provide your hosting panel login credentials? We could use its file manager if FTP isn’t really possible.

You could also try contacting your hosting provider to see if there is some restriction, sometimes, changing a file permission could lead to white pages especially for core files with mandatory permission setting. We could only move forward once we’re able to confirm what’s causing the white page.

Enabling WP_DEBUG may not work either if the error is caused by permission, as the change will not implemented since it’s blocked. Perhaps your hosting provider could provide the exact error details?

the config file is fixed now and the white page problem is solved. … means back to the first problem … how will i be able to change and save my conent?
