Unable to revoke license

I created a new Wordpress site a few weeks ago for my client Kiwi Kai using an X Theme license purchased especially on 13th July. I staged the site at http://digimark.co.nz/kiwikainz.com

Earlier today I made the site live on the kiwikainz.com domain name.

To do this, I created a new Add-on Domain “kiwikainz.com” with Siteground and then changed the A Record at the registrar (Weebly) to our Siteground IP address.

The X Theme site is now live at the https://kiwikainz.com.

My problem is though that the X Theme license for that site now appears as “not validated” and when I try and add the license code again it shows as already registered. I presume it’s because X Theme are seeing that license as registered against the original http://digimark.co.nz/kiwikainz.com

Can you assist with revoking the first instance of that license so I can register it again please against the updated URL / site?

Hi There,

Please revoke your license at https://theme.co/apex/licenses

Assign your new url and validate your license on wordpress.

Hope it helps

Thanks but where or how on the page https://theme.co/apex/licenses do I revoke a license?

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in!

To validate X in your new domain properly, do the following:
1] Please login to your account and assign the license. You need to assign the license to your site using this url: https://www.example.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address

If the license has been assigned already, please click the edit icon and replace the site url.

2] Go back to X > Overview, and insert the license again.

And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-product-validation/55

Thanks - all resolved now

Glad to hear that.

Hi, I am using a local server and want to migrate my license from my test site to my actual website i am building that is currently also on the local server .

I went through the above changes but when I try to register the license on word press I get an error. “Uh oh, we couldn’t check if this license was valid. Details.”

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hello There,

Thanks for updating this thread!

You will need to revoke the license first and then you can use it to validate the actual site. To do that, please do the following steps:
1] Please go to X > Overview and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your actual site. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X > Overview again, and insert your license code.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you for your reply,
I might have played around too much, now none of my themes are activated and i still cant re-activate any of them.

Hi NicoX

If you followed the steps above and it did not work, please open a new thread, explain briefly your situation and provide your WP Admin credentials and purchase code on a secure Note

Hope it helps
