Unable to Re-Install PRO

I’m wanting to re-install Pro as when I’ve used WordPress DEBUG it comes up with an error message:
Unable to create directory … Is its parent directory writable by the server? From access using FTP, all folders are accessible. Its been the same since the first install which went OK.

I’ll send the error messages by images if that helps?

Hey @RibOne,

Yes, please provide a screenshot of the error and also detail how you reinstalled Pro.

For now, please log in to your server and go to the folder where you installed WordPress and delete the pro folder inside wp-content/themes. You can then reinstall Pro using the WordPress installation method.

If that doesn’t help, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

Hello @RibOne,

It has been found someone is working currently since when I logged In into your website dashboard the Pro theme was activated and suddenly Twenty Twenty theme activated, please confirm once you have completed the work so we can start checking it.

Thanks

Hi,
Not working on the site.

Cheers
Kevin

Hey Kevin,

I believe you missed what I’ve previously said:

Please login to your server via FTP and delete the pro folder in your themes folder then reinstall Pro again. To clarify, I’m not referring to WordPress Admin but your server files or folder where you installed WordPress. I’ll just add that install a fresh copy of Pro rather than taking a copy from other sources even from your other sites.

I logged in to your site and there are 2 Pro menus. That is an indication of improper installation or a corrupted theme.

Thanks.

Hi Christian,

Many thanks for your help. I’ve now got the theme back and just need to re-link the websites images. May I mention, however, that another moderator, I’m guessing, installed theme X (as you pointed out) as at one time I saw a File Manager plugin installed in the WP Admin Panel with direct access to the FTP files.

Finally thank you once again for your support.

Hello Kevin,

Glad that we are able to help you and things are well for you

Have a great day!
Thanks
