Unable to locate Global Block : 7280 - But was working and going to a previous backup of entire site isn't helping

Hello,

Very strange thing happened. I have a component that was functioning perfectly. It then stopped and gives the message “Unable to locate Global Block : 7280”. When I go into Cornerstone the component it was suppose to be referencing is empty, at least what I remember I named what it is referencing is blank. It could be trying to reference one called 7280? I wouldn’t have named it like this.

I thought the easiest fix would be to load a backup but I’ve gone way back loading backups of the entire site and it doesn’t change.

The website is www.bluelightstudio.ca and I’m on Pro Theme.

I don’t understand where the component went or how I get it back since it’s not coming back with a full site backup.

Thanks,

Kaj

I just rebuilt the content…didn’t want it to look bad since it’s live. However I am very interested to know what caused this and how I avoid it in the future. Also why the backups were not solving it.

Thanks!

Hello @blue_light_studio,

I checked your site it shows that there are 3 components at the moment, I would suggest you, please copy your live site to the staging server and ask your hosting provider to restore the previous date database and check it.

Hope it helps
Thanks for understanding
