For some reason when I try to open (edit) the only header I have on my website, it opens my home page, which does not have a header at all. However the structure of the header is shown on the layout section as shown in the screenshot.

Please check if your homepage is using the “Blank - No Container | No Header, Footer” page template. You will need to use the “Blank - No Container | Header, Footer”. For more details about the different page templates in the theme, please check this out:
Meanwhile, you can also change the page in the builder preview. Select other pages that is using the " Blank - No Container | Header, Footer" page template other than your homepage.
If the above suggestions does not help, please provide us your WP Access so we can check your header elements and page settings. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
– Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site
