Unable to create Envira Gallery without adding a licence key

Hi there,

Using latest Pro and WP version - added Envira Gallery from Validation page. I cannot create a new gallery in Envira Gallery, keep getting redirected to a page prompting me to add a key. I’ve not had this problem before in previous Pro versions. Thanks!

Update -
I purchased Envira Gallery and then added the licence key to child theme functions as per your support article. Envira Gallery no longer asking for key in the WordPress notice, however whenever I try to Add New gallery, I"m stuck on the same holding screen. Please see here for a screenshot of the issue.

I purchased Envira Gallery and then added the licence key to child theme functions as per your support article.

Hi there - please see my previous comment, I’ve already done this. I’ll break it down -

1. Installed Envira Gallery through Pro>Validation
2. Added licence key in child theme functions.php
3. Envira Gallery recognizes licence key - there is no wordpress warning
4. Click Envira Gallery > Add New - I reach the landing page in the screenshot asking for a licence key to create a new gallery

Even without a licence key, it’s my believe that Envira Gallery should allow me to create new galleries. At least, this has always been the case. I cannot create a gallery with this new landing page.

After further investigation, we believe that this is a bug in the latest release of the theme. This has already been added to our issue tracker and will be looked into by our development team. I cannot make any promises relating to a fix at this stage. I will add a note to the tracker referencing your report though so our dev team can see there are multiple reports of the issue.

Thanks - I can confirm that in latest update Pro Version: 5.1.4 - the error is still there. Cannot create new gallery without being forced to enter a licence key. Thanks

You’re welcome! I suggest that you check the changelog from time to time to see if there’s already an update to this issue.
