Uh Oh! Error Message

Please see attached. I am getting this error when I try to save edits to my Home Page. I have ensured that I am on latest version of PHP (Vers. 7.3.1). I have also ensured the execution time is set to 800s and increased the memory allocation in my WP-Config. file. Is this a hosting server issue, or an X-Pro theme issue? I need to resolve a.s.a.p.!

Ruenel,
Thank you for responding. As my client was pressing me, I needed to find a fast solution. I exported my Home page as a Template, created a new page and then imported the template. I was then able to make the changes and save them. The new Home page was an exact duplicate, so if there’s an issue with the html I’m not sure what it can be?

When the error occurred, I was making edits in the Custom CSS for the Home page and I could not save. I checked the CSS for a missing element, but could find none. Why the page imported fine and was able to be saved with the same CSS code is perplexing. At any rate, the issue is resolved.

I have retained the original Home Page with the error. Please let me know if you would still like to have a login to research this error (if you are simply curious). I’m sure you have more pressing issues, so if you’d like to close this thread, I am in good condition at this time.

Hi @mcaravaglia,

If the new page is an exact duplicate of the troubled page, then that troubled page could have been corrupted. Can you confirm that there is no custom JS on that troubled page? custom JS will not be included when you save a page as a template, so that might be the reason why the new page works.

Anyways, glad you sorted things out,
Cheers!

I can confirm- There was no custom JS with that page.

Hi @mcaravaglia,

I saw a similar case before as it happens to the same page regardless of content, and it was due to the combination of redirect and caching in which the save (Ajax) request fails to follow.

Glad it’s working now, cheers!

Thanks!
