Translating Single Post Layout doesn't show any content in preview

Hello,

I’m trying to translate a Single Post Layout, but the preview does only show the header and footer, but no content. An error popup is shown with the following message:

No suitable preview area found. For layouts this can happen when a third party plugin is overidding the content area or the page you are viewing is not a valid type. Example you are working on an Archive, but viewing a single layout in the preview.

The preview works fine on the original language.

Ok, doing to searching on the forum I came across this post:

Hello @madeby18, Please be advised that the builder will always use the homepage as the page to display in the builder. At the moment, your homepage is using the No Container | No Header, No Footer page template. This is the reason why when you edit a header or footer, it will give you a “No Suitable Preview” error. And that actually works. Clicking the preview icon and then choosing the post is possible and works and the content is shown.

Any idea of why when swapping between languages in Cornerstone it doesn’t load the shown post/page in the selected language by default?

Hello Kevin,

There are instances where the single post loaded in the builder, displayed alongside the layout, does not yet have a translation. This is why, as soon as you assign a post item, the preview builder loads the content.
