X Version 7.0.1 - Column Fade In Effect

Hi @katie_s_mills, I can add a bit more context here. We are planning on adding the feature, but in a different way. We’re going to build a way to add fade and transition controls to all elements. For example, instead of an entire column, you could fade just a button. Or maybe you want to animate in an entire row? The new system will also allow for hover state changes to be applied to different elements. It will most likely be a new set of controls under the “Customize” tab.

Is there any way, to add transitions, moving, fading etc. to texts, buttons, cells in PRO?

Thanks for writing to us.

Regretfully, currently we don’t have such transition effect with the mentioned elements.
We are working on the new features which will be coming soon with our upcoming releases, please stay tuned for the succeeding theme versions.

Hi Tristup,
thank you for these infos. Can you guess, when the new features will be available? I need some moving effects within the next days.
If it will take longer, is there any other solution, to animate texts / headlines in PRO?

Hi Uli,

Regretfully we cant provide ETA.

For now, you can use a Classic Column which has the Fade Effect option, To add Classic Column you need to have classic section, you can add classic section by holding the control ( Windows ) or command ( Mac ) key and pressing the add section button.

thank you for the workaround. I need the effect for a single text-line within a (new) grid cell. I can’t add a Classic Column within a grid, i guess …

Hi Uli,

Yes, you are correct that Classic Column cant be added inside the Grid Cells.
Regretfully, you need to wait till the new features are added to the succeeding theme releases.
