Hello,
I tried to fix this problem by the answer of feb’18 but unfortunately the shop does not work with the older version.
Will the newest update Pro. 4.0 be compatible to WooCommerce 4.8.0?
kind regards, Astrid

Hi Astrid,
Yes, Pro 4.0 has been updated to the latest WooCommerce templates and is compatible with WooCommerce 4.8
When is this update available?
Hello Astrid,
The Pro theme 4.0.0 is available in your Themeco Dashboard account, you can download it from there and update it. Please sure you have a backup of your files and database before updating the theme.
It would be best if could copy your live site to a staging server and update your Pro theme with 4.0.0 version.
In case if you haven’t seen our theme update doc please have a look at it.
Thanks
Thanks. Is the automatic update not yet available (by the dashboard)?
Hi @lumijans,
Sorry about the confusion there. We usually don’t push to automatic updates until we at least have the first or second point release ready. Inevitably with big updates there are some edge cases we don’t find during testing and having a window of manual updates lets us catch things and fix them before pushing the release out to everyone.
You can find more info in the release notes
Manual updates are easier than ever now since WordPress starting allowing in place updates. You just click “Add Theme” and upload the zip file. It will let you overwrite the existing theme with the new version.
OK, thanks. I’ll better wait till the next release.
kind regards, Astrid
I did a test with updating (automatic version of 4.01 is available) but there where some problems, e.g. the footer changed. Hope there will be some improvement in the next version.
Hi @lumijans,
Thanks for confirming. Would you mind sharing some more information about how your footer changed?
The color was dark blue instead of white, maybe the css-changes got lost.
Another question, is it possible to set the darkmodus into a light modus in which you to heave to work now ?
I see. It shouldn’t have changed colors. Would you mind sharing WordPress admin and FTP credentials in a secure note? I could take a look at why it’s changing. Thanks!
Hi again,
I think we may have solved this one - if you’re using custom CSS to change that background, a regression in this release is causing custom CSS to be applied to early. This will be in the next point release out that will either be available today or tomorrow. Let us know if that helps after updating.
Thank you, I got back to the latest version by a back-up and did not install it again.
I am still struggling with finding existing text-blocks (to edit) in a updated version from X (8.06).
Another question: Is there an option to put the dark modus in the editor to a light back-ground?
if I understand you correctly… you can change from dark mode to light mode editor by clicking the burger menu within the pro editor and click prefences… there is a light/dark mode switch in that panel
Thank, found it!
Hi @lumijans,
