Themeing: demo content with all cornerstone and common elements on page

Hi There, i’m wondering if you have a suggestion for the best way develop themeing. I’d like to have a start page with all cornerstone elements as well as other common wordpress elements. Something that I can work through to build all my presets off of in one area. Any suggestions on the best way to go about this?

Typically I will add a section with all basic HTML elements (heading, links etc) And then add each cornerstone element I want and design from there. But it’s a bit tedious.

Also, is there any way to update a preset after it has been created? So that any changes will take accross the site for each element using that preset?

Thank you

Hello @eyedia,

Thanks for writing in! The only option you have to add the section with all the HTML elements (heading, links etc) along with all the Cornerstone elements. We do not have any feature that easily makes this easy.

Is there any way to update a preset after it has been created? So that any changes will take across the site for each element using that preset?

  • Every time you save a preset, it becomes a Preset element that is ready to be use anywhere. To update the preset, you can just resave your preset changes and use the same name as your preset name thus overriding the previous saved preset. Those changes will not affect the elements that is using the preset. What you need to do is to make a Component instead. Check out this documentation:
