Hello,

Could you help us with this error? This just started happening this morning and we haven’t changed/updated anything on our end. We are planning on going through your “Warnings in the Builders” solutions but wanted to ask if there is something else that could be happening before we start making changes that could potentially make our problem worse.

Thanks

Having the same issue. Our theme and cornerstone updated this morning. Cannot get to page content. This has been a long day. Please advise.

I have the same issue with no plugins but Cornerstone installed.

I noticed on a separate post that some people had luck upgrading X theme and Cornerstone. Is that something we should try? It is also worth noting that our PHP is version 5.6.34. Is this compatible with the new X theme and Cornerstone or will we dig a deeper hole by upgrading?

I fixed the same by upgrading the Theme.

Hi @nicomorgan,

Great that it is resolved now.

@ErgoArchitecture, @santosfel5, @kstidham

Could you please try the following process and let us know if the issue still exists.

  1. Delete the Cornerstone
  2. Update the X theme to the latest version on automatic updates
  3. After the X theme is updated, use the link in the dashboard to automatically install the Cornerstone. It will be at the latest version

Hope it helps.

Yay! That worked.

Hi Tristup!

Thanks, that seemed to do the trick

Glad to hear this is working for you now!

We tried the above solution and we’re still getting the same error. We were already updated to the latest X Theme and Cornerstone, so I just deleted and re-installed Cornerstone. Any other suggestions?

I have the same issue. It is saying the origin URL and the preview URL are different?

Hello There,

Could you please update to the latest versions?
Our latest versions are:

  • Pro theme 4..0.7
  • X theme 8.0.7
  • Cornerstone 5.0.7

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog:

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

If the updates still not helping, kindly create a new thread along with your login information so we can check your site settings and investigate the issue further.

Please let us know how it goes.

Wow. What a crazy mess it’s been with the updates. So deleting and updating didn’t solve the problem necessarily, it just caused another where the page preview you’re trying to edit just perpetually loads.

Hi @rglohre,

We are updating the theme, based on the feedback coming from the user and the problem they are facing. So that is why the updates are coming in a quick interval, and it will come till the reported bugs need to be fixed.

Thanks for understanding.

I seem to be having the same issue as these folks. I noticed that in Wordpress, my current x them is 7.1.1, but am showing that version 8.1.10 is now available. I see that automatic update are in the unlocked position, yet for some reason I am not updating to the latest version. How do I manually update to the latest version of X theme?

HI @jwalt1,

Thanks for reaching out.

I suggest that you disable your cornerstone plugin first so that you won’t have any problem when updating your X theme via automatic updates and once the X theme is successfully updated to the latest version, you can now install the latest cornerstone plugin again. If it doesn’t help, you can manually update your theme.

Here are the steps on how to update your theme manually:

  • Delete the Cornerstone plugin to avoid any conflict

  • Go to the theme page and activate another theme in order for you to delete the current X theme installed on your website.

  • After activating another theme example(twentyone theme) then delete the X theme

  • Then go to your themeco account page and you can download the latest version of the X theme
    image

  • After downloading the latest version of X theme then upload it to your website and activate it

  • Lastly install the cornerstone plugin that is compatible with your latest version of X theme

Hope that helps.

Thank you.
