The Grid - Making Post Sticky

I am using ‘The Grid’ to push articles onto my homepage which works fine. But I have made a post ‘sticky’ in the Wordpress Post settings, but that does reflect when the articles are pulled in the sticky post still remains 4th article down. Is there a setting within The Grid that needs enabling to make the sticky posts remain at the top?

Hello @ocduk,

Thanks for writing in!

Please make sure that you are using the Grid as your Grid Type.

Selecting “Masonry” is not recommended because it will just rearrange the grid items once displayed thus the order of the items will not be followed.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks for the replying Ruenel,

I just checked and it was already set to grid.

and the post still shows sticky, but doesnt appear so in the grid.

Hello @ocduk,

Do you have any caching plugins? The Grid plugin has a cache setting too. Please clear all the caches and test the grid again. If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings and investigate further. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/docs/getting-support

Best Regards.

Hiya I do have WP Rocket installed but I have manually cleared caches a few times and tried deactivating the plugin.

Secure note added in case you can help me work it out.

Hello @ocduk,

I have investigated the issue thoroughly and I can confirm that TheGrid plugin does not support sticky posts. This must be a bug in the plugin. I will be reporting this issue to the creators of the plugin to make them aware of it.

Thank you for your understanding.
