The Grid load library

Hi,

I’m in the process of speeding up my website, and I’ve noticed that The Grid is loading on all pages. In the global settings for the plugin it has a setting where you can turn off “Include The Grid library globally”, but when I do that, it screws up the design. I only use The Grid on my blog page and posts and not on my regular pages.

I found this old topic: https://theme.co/archive/forums/topic/the-grid-include-the-grid-library-globally-disabled-glitch/ - but did you ever find a solution?

Hi Kobber,

Thanks for reaching out.

This issue was fixed from recent releases. You can turn off global library, then it will only load where the shortcode is present.

Would you mind providing the URL which this issue is present? Please make sure the global library is off too.

Thanks!

Hi @rad,

Sure. I’ve made an image which shows the issue. Before and after turning off “Include The Grid library globally”.

It’s on this page: https://vektropol.dk/blog/ - and on my blog posts.

Hello @Kobber,

Are you using a custom modification that uses the Grid the display your blog index? If that is the case, you will not be able to use the settings to turn OFF the “Include The Grid library globally” option.

To better assist you with your issue, kindly provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

Hi again,

Yes I believe that there is some modifications, but you’re welcome to have a look.

Hi Kobber,

Not sure what’s causing this and we’ll further investigate this. For the meantime, please add your grid shortcode within text element. It works even with global library is off.

Thanks!

Perfect - thank you!

You’re most welcome!
