I don’t know if it was like this forever, but probably someone know how to change it?
If I am in the html view and type something like oder – it will be completely cleaned or converted to - after closing the editor. I believed it stays as html at the html view forever?

I ran into the opposite of this the other day, where I changed a site to default to the rich text viewer and it converted all the html into rich text, e.g. I had <h2> tags around a headline string, I changed the site-wide setting to start defaulting to the rich text editor, and then just opening the text editor caused the full
So, a close cousins to what you’re describing. Not sure if it’s been like this for a while - this is the first time I’ve run into this (I usually don’t have the rich text setting enabled)
