Terms and Conditions show on the Checkout page 2 times

When adding Terms, They appear 2 times. In this case, 1 time is correct (highlighted in green) and 1 time is incorrect (in English). I checked all the settings, but unfortunately I didn’t find a solution. Can you help?

Hello @ruslan300,

Thanks for posting in! We cannot replicate the issue in our local testing server. This could be caused by a 3rd party plugin. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

By the way, please make sure that you have the latest version of the theme. Our latest versions are:

  • X theme 7.2.3
  • Cornerstone 4.2.3
  • WooCommerce 4.0
  • WordPress core 5.3.2

This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/docs/getting-support

Please let us know how it goes.

I tried your advice. Disabled all plugins, but the error remains the same. Software versions:

  • X theme 7.2.3
  • Cornerstone 4.2.3
  • WooCommerce 4.0.1
  • WordPress core 5.4

Hello Ruslan,

Unfrotunately, credentials is not working. It says

Unknown username. Check back or try your email address.

Please double check.

I apologize. Fixed login details.

Hello Ruslan,

I was able to logged in and check your site. I am seeing this on the checkout page:

  • SRn0rnArRwOfsrHnFZcujA

The first one is the Mail Poet Checkout optin, the Privacy Policy text and then the Terms and Condition option. You may need to disable the MailPoet plugin to get rid of the first text “I would like to receive exclusive emails with discounts and product information”.

Be advised that just recently we have dropped the support of MailPoet plugin. We no longer have it bundled in the theme. All enquiries will be directed to the creators of the MailPoet plugin by contacting theme yourself.

Thanks.

Thanks! You’ve been very helpful!

I use ConvertPlus to enter new clients ’ data + communication via Mail Poet. Maybe my approach is ineffective. What modules can you recommend to me?

And another question immediately arose on this topic. I plan to make testing systems in the form of quizzes. I wanted to use “Estimation & Payment Forms” for this, but it doesn’t look good on all screens. What do you recommend?

Hello Ruslan,

The forms should be responsive. You may check some demos here:

Hope this helps.
