My understanding from previous support tickets was that Vertical/Side individual tabs were going to be applied as an option for the Tabs Element - currently only able to be Horizontal across the top of the Element.
Surely even a completely new Element is an option for this…?? The current Tabs Element renders super poorly on Mobile…
A little frustrated it hasn’t been applied in this sizeable update (multiple new/upgraded elements etc).
Any timeline on this?

In the Design Cloud there’s a vertical tabs preset you can download. This adds some Element CSS to stack the tab navigation vertically. You could use that as a starting point, then customize the styling from there. At this time we don’t have plans to make vertical tabs a native part of the element.

It could be part of a future round of elements. Now that the Element API is complete I wouldn’t be surprised if someone hacks the current element into a vertical version. Either way, the preset in design cloud works pretty well!
