Stylizing Tabs - Part Two

Hi there -

Based on what you mentioned in my original post concerning stylizing tabs, I was able to modify the new version of tabs to more closely resemble the classic tabs.

This stylized version was saved as a component.

Would you please take a look at how we stylized the tabs and provide any suggestions for improvement? I will share a product page from our staging site via a secure note.

We use Theme X, with a child theme.

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim,

Through the WordPress admin dashboard, we can check how you implemented the tab styles. But please remember that we don’t have any suggestions on tab stylization; it depends on your design and the color combination used on your website.

Thanks

Hi @tristup - Thank you. I will share credentials to our staging site . Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Best regards,
Tim

Hi Tim,

We are able to log into your website, but unfortunately, we are not able to find the component in the name you mentioned.

Can you please check and let us know the exact component name, so we can review it?

Thanks

Hi @tristup

I found it under templates. See the video capture I shared under a new secure note.

Thanks
Tim

Hello Tim,

Did you change the WP Access? It seems that the password is not working for me.
Please double check it.

Thanks.

@ruenel - Please see new secure note. Thanks

Hey Tim,

What you currently have is the Tabs element Presets.

This is why it appears when you add a Tab element like this:

This is great when starting or adding a pre built Tab element. But editing them cannot be done globally which is why in the previous thread @Prakash_s mentioned about the Component Builder. Once you create a Tab component, you can always edit the Tab component in the component builder and will automatically update the changes to every page that uses the Tab component.

Hope this makes sense.

Hi @ruenel

Ok, I was able to create the tab component. Then I added the component to the product page. You’ll notice that I left the template template in place for comparison. Would you take a look at the stylizing I used for the tabs and let me know what you think. We are trying to match the stylize of the original tab element. See secure note.

Thank you
Tim
