Strange behavior when caching results API requests

Hey Charlie,

I have noticed now a few times that something strange is happening when setting up the API for Google Places to display reviews on a website. All seems to work fine but then after some time my reviews disappear. And then when I change my caching time my results are coming back in again. On the video you can see that now when setting the caching time to 1 month the results are coming in, but half an hour before I made this video only when setting the cache result on ‘once’ my results were being pulled in. So it seems random when and when not the results are pulled in and it seems that it can change again after some time resulting in not displaying anything what was working before. Screen Recording

It looks like you might have a bad cache. If you “Clear Cache” in the Cornerstone settings it will remove any API caches you have. I would also try opening the API Tester up on what you are trying to grab, you might have an error. If you save then reload Cornerstone when you’ve changed the cache time that might also help. Let me know if that helps and have a great day.

Thanks Charlie, I just checked again to be sure with the API tester but no errors nothing, for now everything is working so maybe it had something to do with my cache (although I did clear everything multiple times). I definitely believe it was a user error again I just don’t know what it could have been.
