STILL no lightbox in the X theme?

Having used X theme since it came out and with 20 licenses, a bit surprised to see that there is STILL no simple option to open an image in a lightbox with the Cornerstone builder. This seems very surprising and lacking a major feature. Have I missed something? Probably going to stop using this theme for builds from now on as it’s very frustrating… :frowning:

Is there no simple fast way to enable image enlargement in a lightbox? Come on Themeco, it’s 2021 here - where is this?

Hello @savantmg,

Thanks for writing to us.

To enable the image to open in the lightbox you can use this shortcode. I have used this shortcode in the Text element.

[image class="lightbox-01" src="http://example.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/the-word-01.jpg" alt="app list" link="true"]
[lightbox selector=".lightbox-01"]

Hope it helps
Thanks

@prakash_s — the link you shared for shortcodes does not have a full list of shortcodes available in the theme. Is there a full list somewhere in the documentation? I am unable to find one.

Thanks,

I wanted to avoid manually using a shortcode for every image - it seems rather counter-productive vs. just enabling a (missing) option in Cornerstone on the image element - is there a reason why this it not yet in the theme after all these years? It is a very common feature in other themes, etc. I guess I have no choice for now but this will be the last time I use the X theme until this basic functionality is included.

Hi @savantmg,

We are really sorry to hear that, but unfortunately, we can’t do anything about it right now.
Alternatively, I would suggest you try using the bundled grid plugin name Essential Grid, which has the similar feature you need. Please visit the links below for more details and plugin usage instructions.

Hi @SJF_me,

The shortcode can be found in the Shortcodes menu item at the following link.

Thanks

Thanks @tristup - but that’s just the one shortcode. I’m wondering where the full list of shortcodes is?

Hello @SJF_me,

You can check the link that @tristup has shared, you need to hover on the Shortcode menu item and you get the list of the shortcode that is available. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

Hope it helps
Thanks
