Sticky menu, and color change on scroll

I was able to get the logo to shrink on-scroll and give color to the navbar from an older thread on this forum that doesn’t appear active anymore.

When I added the code, everything worked fine until I activated the topbar. It seemed to push the navbar down into where it’s trying to transition to the dark background. How can I make this so it accounts for the topbar so you don’t see any navbar background color when you’re at the top of the page?

Any help would be much appreciated.
